Chief Executive Officer Ron Smith has over 30 years of experience in the field of behavioral health. He has spent the majority of his career in the non-profit public sector. Mr. Smith has worked as a clinical social worker with both children and persons with serious mental illness. He has held a number of administrative positions including: Assistant Director (Deputy Director) for the Arizona Department of Health Services responsible for the Division of Behavioral Health, President and CEO of Phoenix Interfaith Counseling, President and CEO of ComCare while under state control, Chief of the Bureau of Children’s Services for the ADHS Division of Behavioral Health Services, Director of Children’s Services for ValueOptions, and Executive Director of Community Behavioral Health. Mr. Smith holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from Michigan State University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Vice President of Recovery and Transformation Jill Teslow Rowland joined CHOICES Network of Arizona in January of 2009 as their Vice President of Recovery and Transformation. Ms. Rowland has over 20 years of experience in the field of behavioral health in Maricopa County. She has held a number of Clinical and Administrative positions within the Regional Behavioral Health Authorities and within the Direct Care Clinics. Ms. Rowland came to CHOICES from Magellan Health Services where she held the position of Vice President of Direct Services Transition. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from South Dakota State University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Director of Clinic Operation Keith Press joined CHOICES Network of Arizona as its Director of Clinic Operations in February 2009. Prior to coming to CHOICES Network of Arizona, Mr. Press served as a Regional Director for Magellan Health Services in Maricopa County. Keith has extensive knowledge of community based behavioral health services, managed care operations and management training & development. Mr. Press holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Development from Antioch University and is a Licensed Behavioral Health Professional. Medical Director Ann M. Negri MD has over 24 years of experience in providing psychiatric services to the severely mentally ill population. Dr Negri relocated from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania in 2006.to Arizona. She initially worked as an Area Medical Director for Value Options, Magellan and became the Medical Director of CHOICES in 2009. Dr Negri graduated from Temple University School of Medicine in 1981 and completed her Adult Psychiatry residency at the University of Pittsburgh Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic in 1985. She had held a faculty position as Clinical Assistant professor of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh, Medical College of Pennsylvania and Drexel University for 14 years. Dr Negri Currently holds faculty positions of Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at both The University of Arizona College of Medicine and Midwestern University. Dr Negri is also a member of the American Psychiatric Association and was given the Distinguished Fellow and Fellow status award in 2004 for her dedication to psychiatric excellence in her field. |
